Announcing WOKC 2025
“The largest all women sailing event to make waves in the UK”
The countdown is on for the UK’s largest all women’s sailing event, WOKC, taking place from the 30th of May to the 1st of June 2025 at the Royal Southern Yacht Club, Hamble. This groundbreaking event aims to empower women through sailing, fostering a supportive community and celebrating the achievements of female sailors. The next edition of the Women’s Open Keelboat Championships promises an exciting line-up of events, including a training day, speaker panel, racing, and of course the Saturday night social, designed to inspire participants of all skill levels - from seasoned sailors to complete beginners.
Highlights of the event include:
Friday Training: An expert-led on-water session by OneSails GBR covering sailing and trimming technique, racing tips and many more.
Competitive Racing: Women travelling from within and outside of the UK will compete in two days of racing, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
Networking opportunities: Attendees will connect with like-minded women, industry professionals and sailing enthusiasts. WOKC also hold a crew-match network.
Guest Speakers: Inspirational talks from renowned female sailors and leaders in the maritime industry.
Saturday Night Social: With food, and music, including drink provided by our sponsors, you don’t want to miss this party - “the party’s so good we get noise complaints from Warsash!”
